A vintage pair of Staffordshire porcelain busts, done in the style of Bourbon Children. The term coming from busts modelled after Prince Louis Charles de Bourbon and Princess Marie Zepherine de Bourbon, the descendants of Louis XIV of France, Bourbon monarch of the Kingdom of France. These busts are heavy for their size and well appointed. The care given to their faces and clothing are remarkable in their detail and capture the essence of the royal children. These pieces are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, but does have some crazing so please closely review all photos.  It is unusual to find an original pair together. 22K gold trimming is in excellent condition, no wearing. These pieces measure 8" tall x 4.5" wide x 4" deep for the girl and 9" tall x 4.5" wide x 4" deep for the boy. Classic, lovely and elegant pieces.
