Blouse style unlined jacket features a stiffened peplum and shoulder pads. Fancy covered buttons up the front with bound buttonholes. Iridescent jet black seed bead trimming. Long sleeves with turned up split cuff. Peter Pan collar with beading. Fitted nipped in waist and faux pocket flaps with beading.

Gored pleated at the waist skirt. Side metal zipper and hooks and eyes. Seams are finished with pinking. True old Hollywood glam!

- condition - Very good. Missing one button on the jacket. I would suggest moving the top button down and using a brooch at the neck under the collar. There are large faded spots on the inside of the skirt. It makes the satin on the outside a tiny bit more yellow shade, but very hard to notice, as if a trick of the light. Sticky spot on one sleeve cuff perhaps from an old label. Skirt may have been shortened at some time. Zipper is contrary. Still a magnificent ensemble.
