SEE VIDEO to appreciate this SIGNED countrycore large 19th century wooden box. This large antique wooden box, measuring 15 inches in width and 8 inches in height, is a signed primitive folk art piece created by Elaine Aungst in the 19th century. This is a very precious piece -- what a great find for you! The round-shaped box features a medium wood tone and is adorned with charming birds, trees, and a barn painted by the artist in 2000. This folk art box hails from the US Northeast region and exudes a cottagecore, shabby chic style with a naive and primitive design. The inside of the box is lined with decoupage flower magazine clippings, adding a unique touch to this authentic and original piece.This EARLY and large 19th c round box is beautifully made and would look good in -- well, your home. The type of wood is bent wood.  Would be great as a gift, as well. I really love this piece and I am sure you will too! Very good antique condition.
