S-02 Usage Instructions:

  • Primary Use:

    • Can be used as a protective coat for S-01, S-06, and S-09.
    • Can also be layered with metallic varnish. If applying metallic varnish, ensure the interface coat fully covers and protects the parts.
    • The silver examples shown in the images are coated with metallic varnish.

  • Transparent Color Application Sequence:
    Glossy black > Silver > Interface coat > Transparent color paint.

Cautions:

  1. Apply the interface coat directly without diluting with any solvent.
  2. If dilution is necessary, use ionized water (non-refrigerated, available at convenience stores) and add only 5–8%.
  3. Ensure the humidity of the painting environment does not exceed 65%.
Additional Notice:
Due to a raw material update from the manufacturer, the visual appearance of the paint in the bottle may differ.
Previously, it appeared more transparent, while the updated version may look milky white.
This is only a visual difference and does not affect performance or application results. Please use with confidence.

S-03, S-04, S-05 Usage Instructions:

  • Non-Dilutable: S-03 and S-04 can be mixed to create your desired shade of gold.
  • Application Method: Same as chrome silver (S-01, S-06, S-09). The smoother the base surface, the better the reflective effect and shine.
  • Optimal Humidity: The lower the humidity, the better the results. A humidity level of around 60% is recommended.
  • Layering Process:
    1. Glossy black base > 2 coats of clear gloss (the second coat can be thinned slightly), or use metallic varnish or glossy black with hardener.
    2. Apply 2 layers of S-03~S-05. The paint layer strength is comparable to S-01, allowing for overlapping and coverage. The paint will not peel off when touched by hand.

Differences Between S-01, S-06, and S-09:

  • Shine Intensity:
    S-09 > S-06 > S-01

  • Layering with Transparent Colors:

    • S-01: Suitable for directly layering transparent colors.
    • S-06: Classified as white chrome silver. Can be layered with S-02 before applying transparent colors. For extremely high shine requirements, enamel transparent paints can be layered.
    • S-09: Classified as black chrome silver. Not suitable for layering colors; can only be applied directly.
