The Flemish Twist Bowstring I hand craft for you is a super high quality product manufactured by the famous BCY string company located in Connecticut since 1990.

The best Flemish Strings I offer are made of 100% B55 Polyester string material (often referred to as “Dacron”). The BCY string manufacturer recently improved the string material, defining it as 100% Polyester which has better durability and lower stretch, according to BCY company.

WHAT YOU GET

·                You get a B55 100% Polyester high quality bowstring  made to your specifications.

·                Each string is equipped with black .019" BCY 400 nylon center serving material 8"-81/2 in length. 

·                All strings are pre stretched.

·                Bear in mind even after being pre-stretched, brand new strings will more than likely require an additional adjustment after the first use on the range. This is normal but will subside. It is the nature of Flemish Twist Bowstrings.

 General guideline for Flemish Twist Bowstrings:

·          For bows with draw weight from 10-30 pounds,  10-12 strands

·          For bows with draw weight from 30-40 pounds,  14 -16 strands

·          For bows with draw weight 50 pounds and over, 16 - 18 or more strands depending on the strength of the bow..
