• ITEM DETAILS: This is a scarce 1881 edition of The Stars published by Nelson and Sons of London. There are obvious signs of age and use, with one front fly leaf reinforced at the spine with tape along with pencil inscriptions on two of the front fly pages, some foxing and normal discolouration in places where differing materials are contacting each other (see photos), but on the whole it's a more than acceptable example in very sound condition and is perfectly readable. A fascinating and charming little book, everything is exactly as you see it in the scans and it comes from a smoke free home.
