Key Features & Condition:

  • Genuine Articles: These are authentic license plates that were used on a vehicle in Japan.
  • De-registered & Drilled: As per Japanese regulations, when a vehicle's registration is cancelled and the owner applies to keep the plates (instead of returning them), a large hole (approximately 4cm in diameter) is drilled through them. This practice prevents re-use and officially marks them as de-registered, ensuring they are not stolen but legitimately acquired after cancellation procedures.
    • In other words, the large hole is proof of their authenticity and proper de-registration, not a defect.
