Canesten cream is indicated for the treatment of skin and external

external mucosa infections caused by clotrimazole sensitive

microorganisms - foot fungus (athlete’s foot), diaper and sweat rash,

inflammation of external genitalia.

Canesten cream is used to treat:

- fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, fungal nappy rash and fungal sweat

rash,

- inflammation of external female genitals or the end of the penis caused by fungi.

Use

Apply Canesten® cream thinly and evenly to the affected areas two or

three times daily and rub in gently. A strip of cream (0.5 cm long) is

enough to treat an area about the size of the hand.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are

planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this

medicine.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your

doctor or pharmacist has told you.

Composition

The active substance is clotrimazole. 1 gram of cream contains 10 mg of clotrimazole.

The other ingredients are:

benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, octyldodecanol,

polysorbate 60, purified water, sorbitan stearate. Aqua, Glycerin,

Adelmidrol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates

Crosspolymer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Phenethyl Alcohol,

Sodium Hydroxyde, Hyaluronic Acid, Methylparaben, Phytosphingosine,

Quercetyn.
