Classics Boxed Set

Publisher: Collins' Clear-Type Press, 10 novels in their original slipcase, c.1920. All bound in maroon leatherette, top edges red, ribbon bookmarks. Pocket sized, 15cm, 6 inches, tall, housed in their original very sturdy slipcase, also covered in maroon leatherette. Very good condition, with some minor wear to the spines, a short tear to the lower back hinge of The Invisible Man, and a bit of fading to the red colour on the top edges. Very occasional light marks, mainly clean and bright. Each book has three or four illustrations, except for Kipps, which has only a frontispiece. Various illustrators. The titles are: H.G. Wells; The Invisible Man, The First Men In The Moon and Kipps: Alexandre Dumas; The Man in the Iron Mask, The Three Musketeers, Chicot the Jester and The Black Tulip: Lew Wallace, Ben Hur: George Borrow, Wild Wales: Victor Hugo; The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
