My church, Holy Trinity Lutheran in Troutman, NC, had a Games-Themed Vacation Bible school.  I wanted to decorate the craft room as though the kids were the game pieces on a gameboard so everything had to be HUGE to make them feel to scale.  This quilt is one of four I made as wall decorations or for the kids to actually use for games; it was hung on the wall with the chess pieces pinned in place (as shown in the second photo).  Now that VBS is over, we are making the quilts available to others hoping to make a little money for our quilting group.

The quilt is 78" x 60", which makes it a twin quilt, but to play the games, it works best on a full size bed (as shown), across two tables, or on the floor.  This game set would be perfect for a youth group sleep over or game night.

The game quilt set includes 57 pieces:  1 light brown and dark brown quilt tied like a comforter at the corners of the squares, 32 felt chess pieces (black and light gray), and 24 felt checkers (red and black).  The reverse of the quilt is a lovely solid brown cotton.

The cost of the quilt is equal to the cost of the materials used to make it (I am not charging for my time which would seriously raise the price!) plus two of the pads we use inside the quilts and an estimate of the fees paid to eBay.  The box will weigh 6 pounds and be shipped in a large box.  Shipping should be correct as shown for the buyer location.
