⚙️ Compatibility / Fitment

This filter fits many Mercury / Mariner 4‑Stroke carbureted outboards, 25‑90 HP, manufactured approximately from 1998‑1999 onward, depending on model. Examples:

  • It’s used “under the cowl” — meaning inside/outboard lower engine cover area — in the fuel line, before fuel reaches carburetor or fuel system.

  • Construction: Usually plastic body (translucent) so you can visually check fuel and debris.

  • Fuel hose barb size: 5/16″ inner diameter typical. 

  • Filtering capability: Designed to trap particles and other small contaminants in fuel to protect the carburetor and fuel system. 

  • OEM vs aftermarket: Available as genuine Mercury/Quicksilver OEM, and also aftermarket (e.g. Sierra, others). Both types meet similar design specifications.

  • Price DOES NOT include any Import Tax / Duty / VAT. We are notresponsible for any Custom Duty or Import Tax.
