Hey fellow enthusiasts! I'm a 2nd time Del Sol owner, and a proud Honda fanboy. As I started assembling parts to restore my newly purchased '94 Si, I found there are generally four options for zig zag floor mats:
- Pay $200+ on eBay/Marketplace for severely worn OEM mats needing repair/repaint.
- Pay $500+ for a rare set of clean OEM mats on eBay/Marketplace.
- Pay $330 for a custom reproduction set .
- Or get incredibly lucky and somehow get a good OEM set at a reasonable price.
I love the look of zigzag mats in these cars, but hunting for original mats in good condition and at a fair price seemed like a waste of time, and $330 for custom front mats seemed incredibly steep. I also don't have the time to resurrect OEM floor mats, but I respect those of you who can do it!
I'm a graphic designer, and with the help of a few dedicated members of the Del Sol community and a whole lot of measuring, I'm now able to make replicas of the zig zag floor mats we all love, but at a fraction of the cost of similar listings.
- These mats are made-to-order, and the turnaround time from payment to delivery can take up to 30 days. I’ll keep you updated along the way.
- The backing is NOT cleated or rubberized, it’s a rough/textured carpet backing. The manufacturer I’m working with will only do a rubberized backing for volume orders, and I’d lose the made-to-order customizability of the mats. I’ve been satisfied with how my mats have stayed in place as-is, but others may want to add cleats or velcro tape. Do what makes you feel comfortable for your car and driving style.
- This listing is for a front set only—that's one driver side mat, and one passenger side mat.
- This listing does not include a trunk mat--I have separate listings for just the trunk mat, as well as the full 3-piece set.
If you’re interested, send me a message with the year of your Del Sol (I need to know if it has a gas release or a gas AND trunk release on the driver side floor), and we'll make it happen.
