Transformer connection:

  • The LED transformer/driver is used to power low voltage LED lamps (12 V) or other 12 V DC devices.
  • It's an intelligent switching power supply that converts 110 V/240 V AC to 12 V DC. A switch allows you to select the correct input voltage (110 V or 240 V AC) and provide a constant output voltage.

Applications:
  • This DC12V IP20 LED transformer/driver is used to power low voltage (12V) LED lamps, light strips, CCTV cameras, 3D printers and many other devices that require a DC12V constant voltage supply.
  • LED lamps require a constant voltage to operate properly. While a conventional 12V transformer may work perfectly, in some cases it may shorten the lamp's lifespan.
  • Using MR16/MR11 LED lamps with our driver instead of an existing transformer almost doubles the lifespan of the MR16/MR11 LED lamp.
