Gansai Tamebi Graphite Colors is a new art material made by mixing graphite and color pigments in a unique ratio. It features the matte texture unique to graphite and deep, calm colors. You can also polish the areas where it is applied at a high concentration to create a metallic luster.
It has excellent light resistance and can be used for all types of art, including illustrations, brush writing, calligraphy, and calligraphy.
★What should I use to create a metallic luster?
There is no recommended tool for polishing, but
I use the following tools when creating my works.
・Agate stick (art material with agate stone attached)
・Butter knife
・Spoon
・Nails and finger pads
★Tips for polishing
・If you polish with the tip of a sharp object, the surface will be scraped and scratches will be noticeable, so it is easier to polish with something with a surface.
・If you dilute it so much that it no longer has a graphite feel, it will be difficult to achieve a glossy finish, so it is better to dilute it thick enough that some black parts remain, making it easier to polish.
*If you apply it too thickly, resin may remain on the surface when it dries and harden, so we would appreciate it if you could adjust the concentration.
