Hashish

By

Henry De Monfreid

Translated by Helen Buchanan Bell

Publisher: Methuen & Co. Ltd. 1935 first edition. Bound in orange cloth. Good condition, in a worn binding with marks, a faded spine and repair to the back spine hinge. Internally the book has some scattered foxing and light marks to the first and last few pages and one owner name in pencil on the front endpaper, very occasional marks, mainly clean. Illustrated with monochrome photographs, all present as called for. An uncommon book, an account of the author's life as a drug smuggler in Africa and the Mediterranean.
