All 12 issues of Chess World for the year 1954.

I stored these in the back of a wide bookshelf, purposely sealed in large sandwich bags, and so they have not seen the light of day or been exposed to any moisture.  I cannot believe how little aging has occurred!!  Covers are made of heavy stock and slightly browned (they are 60-80 years old, after all), colors are vivid, pages are minimally off-white, font, layout, and size seems to copy British Chess Magazine.

Chess World was originally the offspring of local Australian chess news, but in 1946 Cecil Purdy began editing and self-publishing it.
As it grew, it became known the world over for detailed look of key GM games world-wide, articles of various chess topics,  and chess news.  After over 20 years of this work, Purdy eventually discontinued publishing in September 1967.

I am selling off nearly the entire run (only missing 1966 and the final partial year), all in the same condition.

Come back often as I am liquidating a large collection.   I do refund excess shipping paid when you buy mutiple items.
