This full facepiece reusable respirator offers lightweight comfort and ease of use. Combine with appropriate 3M™ particulate filters or cartridges to help provide respiratory protection against particulates and/or a variety of gases and vapors. Reliable, convenient, compatible respiratory protection. The 3M™ Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6000 Series offers versatility for many envrionments and applications and helps provide respiratory protection against a wide variety of gases and vapors when used with approved catridges and filters. When properly fitted and used with approved 3M™ Cartridges and Filters, helps provide respiratory protection from a variety of gases, vapors and particulate hazards at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
KIT INCLUDES:
- One 3M Full Face piece Reusable Respirator 6800, medium size, plus 1 pair (2 total) 3M Particulate Filters 2097 with 99. 97% filter efficiency meeting NIOSH P100-series test criteria.
- RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: 3M Filter 2097 helps protect against many oil and non-oil particulate contaminants and nuisance level odor from organic vapors such as mold, dust, lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA.

Positive Pressure User Seal CheckPlace the palm of your hand over the opening in the exhalation valve cover and exhale gently. If facepiece bulges slightly and no air leaks are detected between the face and the facepiece, a proper seal has been obtained. If faceseal air leakage is detected, reposition the respirator on your face and/or readjust the tension of the straps to eliminate leakage and recheck seal. If you cannot achieve a proper seal, DO NOT enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor. | Negative Pressure User Seal Check Using Particulate FiltersPlace your thumbs onto the center portion of the filters, restricting airflow through filters and inhale gently. If you feel facepiece collapse slightly and pull closer to your face with no leaks between the face and the facepiece, a proper seal has been obtained. If faceseal air leakage is detected, reposition the respirator on your face and/or readjust the tension of the straps to eliminate leakage and recheck seal. If you cannot achieve a proper seal, DO NOT enter the contaminated area.
