This is a previously-owned, girls-large (YL / size 14-16), white, V-neck T-shirt with “Toledo Mud Hens Baseball / Est 1896” printed on the front as a distressed graphic. Manufactured in 2007, it measures approximately 16½ inches (from underarm seam to underarm seam), about 20 inches from back collar to bottom, and is in great condition (Cotton Exchange brand, 100% cotton).
The Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Club is the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The mascot’s name is Muddy. The Mud Hens first year of baseball dates back to 1896, and many famous individuals have played for Toledo over the years (Jim Thorpe, Casey Stengel, Kirby Puckett, Kirk Gibson). The Mud Hens were made “world famous” when Toledo native Jamie Farr appeared on the hit TV show M*A*S*H wearing a Mud Hens jersey…
