Description: Source unknown. Depiction of the surrender of two sons of Tippo Sahib.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Albert Henry Payne' after 'Henry Singleton'. Albert Henry Payne (English; 1812-1902) was one of the great publishers of steel engravings. Originally from London, he worked in Leipzig and Dresden.  Henry Singleton (1766-1839).

Condition: Good, given age. Ample margins, some foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
