Most important difference between stock and this device is enabled possibilities of band changing. For example if in some location this router
will work on 1 network bar coverage producing only 2Mbps internet on stock auto mode then you can change from "auto" to for example B20 etc mode to get full network coverage, all bars and higher internet speed. Auto mode will never give you much efficiency, just tune it in settings for your area and enjoy fast internet access.
Huawei B310s-22, 4G is unlocked, it means You can use it with any network sim card.
