If purchasing our fire suppressant tubing, we recommend sealing all holes in the enclosure with intumescent sealant which will help work with the suppression tubing to restrict air flow within the enclosure. This is the ideal product to accompany the tubing. 

The Everbuild Everflex Fire Mate Intumescent Sealant is a one-part, water-based, acrylic intumescent sealant that is ideal for sealing gaps and around service penetrations in fire walls and partitions. It is a white sealant that comes in a 295ml cartridge. When exposed to heat, the sealant will swell up to 150% of its original size, creating a char that will help to resist the passage of fire and smoke. The sealant is also fire rated for up to 4 hours, and it is easy to apply and tool.
