BoatTector's Stainless Steel Anchor Lead Chain is designed with oversized links and 5/16" shackles on each end to simplify attachment. Suitable for most shackle/rode combinations. The use of an anchor lead chain enhances the anchor's holding power by keeping the shank parallel to the anchoring surface, helping to eliminate unwanted pull-out or anchor freeing caused by wave motion or boat drifting. It also limits abrasion between the anchor and anchor line.
