I don't think there will be any particular problems with operation.
(The moving parts may occasionally make a slight scraping noise. It is difficult to determine whether this is due to a lack of oil or to the specifications.)

We asked Sony to check the current situation using the serial number, and were told that the aibo was not currently subscribed to any active services, and therefore could not be reset, grown, or linked to the aibo app.
I was informed that for normal use, I would need to subscribe to a plan.

There were scratches on the tip of his nose and on his paws.
There may be some other scratches and scuffs.
The battery life of the device itself is not covered by the warranty. (After some research, it seems that some people replace the battery every 3 years or so.)

After your purchase, contact Sony Support (toll free number 0120-30-2629), tell them that you have inherited an aibo, and sign up for the "aibo Basic Plan."
A new SIM card will be sent to you, so please place it inside Aibo and perform the initial settings.
