WORLD INDUSTRIES youth med hoodie Steve Rocco skateboarding sweatshirt Flameboy
This is a previously-owned, youth-medium (YM), navy-blue, long-sleeved, hooded sweatshirt with “World Industries” printed on the front and back. It measures approximately 18 inches (from underarm seam to underarm seam), about 21½ inches from back collar to bottom, and is in good condition, though it shows a few light marks (World Industries brand, 50% cotton / 50% polyester).
World Industries is a skateboard, snowboard, and shoe manufacturing company that was created by professional freestyle skateboarder Steve Rocco in 1987 (after he was kicked off the Sims Skateboards team). He teamed up with John Lucero of Black Label for the company and also rode for the company, along with skaterboarders Jesse Martinez and Jeff Hartsel. Rodney Mullen and Mike Vallely made the decision to leave Powell Peralta to skate for World Industries. The company has developed additional brands like Darkstar, Speed Demons, and Tensor over the next years.
