Important Instructions for Your Violin Set:

  1. Bridge Placement: Upon receiving your violin, please note that the bridge is wrapped in paper and located under the tailpiece. Do not discard it. Install the bridge in the middle of the two F holes for proper positioning.

  2. Bow Maintenance: If you notice loose hair on the bow, do not panic. Simply use the screw to tighten the frog, ensuring the hair is taut for optimal performance.

  3. Broken Bow Hair: Finding a broken part of the bow hair is not uncommon. Trim off the broken section, and your bow will still function effectively.

  4. Bow Tension: Avoid over-tightening your bow. The hair should have a slight bounce without touching the stick when placed on the strings. Ideally, maintain a 1/4 inch distance from the low point of the curve to the hair for the best results.

  5. Rosin Application: Hold the rosin with your index finger and thumb while applying it to the bowstring in an even up-and-down motion. For smooth application, create a powdery texture on the rosin by ripping a trace before smearing. To prevent stickiness, keep your hands clean or use a tissue while applying.

  6. String Maintenance: If a string falls out, don't worry. It can be reinstalled easily. Feel free to reach out to our customer service for assistance.
