Grade

  1. Excellent+++++
  2. Felt art is known for its rich colors and warm textures.
    Textiles were born in Northern Europe around the 8th century.
    It is said that in the mid-19th century, it evolved from a ``handicraft'' based on everyday life such as insulation effects to contemporary art.
    This book focuses on the works of Ms. Inger Johanne Rasmussen, a textile artist living in Oslo.
    This is a great book that describes the creative process and the artists' daily lives and thoughts.
    From orthodox patterns such as checks, quilts, and plants, to abstract patterns, people, birds, houses, and more.
    A variety of images, including designs reminiscent of surrealism, are layered together, freely combining old and new art.
    In addition to the Nordic climate, it has a unique presence that is fun just to look at.
    We will also introduce the city of Oslo, which shines in early summer, and the scenery of Hovedja Island, where the atelier is located.
