Model Kit Overview:

Tamiya 1/35 West German Flakpanzer Gepard Plastic Model Kit. The Flakpanzer Gepard is a modern German self-propelled anti-aircraft system. The first prototypes were released in 1965, and the serial production started in the following years up until 1976 when they ended their production with about 570 units being manufactured. Following the construction of two prototypes, the Flakpanzer Gepard was born. It utilized a standard Leopard as its base with its turret exchanged for the better Oerlikon-Contraves twin 35/90mm AA gun.
