This backpack incorporates elements of a running vest-type pack while incorporating features that make it easy to use for scrambling, climbing, and mountaineering.
Frequently used items can be stored in the vest side, reducing the number of times the pack is taken on and off.

The storage section is made of two layers of blue fabric with an interlining and black ripstop nylon.
The mouth is a drawstring but can be covered with blue fabric & metal hooks.
Inside the storage section is one stretch mesh sleeve that doubles as a hydration pocket and one zippered mesh pocket (with one key strap inside).
Both sides have vertical sleeves large enough to hold trek poles.
Bungee cords on the external sides.
Sleeve at the bottom for inserting sticks.
Back panel to reduce back moisture.
