Spirited Away Matcha Bowl and Chasen Set
A matcha bowl and tea whisk set with a Spirited Away design!
The tea bowl is Akahada ware and features a No-Face and camellia,
and the handle of the Takayama tea whisk, a traditional craft made from black bamboo, has No-Face's face carved into it.
Each has a "Spirited Away" stamp on the back and handle.
Akahada ware is fired in iron-rich soil from Nara, so the slightly red base is glazed before firing. It has a soft milky texture.
Takayama tea whisks are a traditional craft in which all processes are carefully done by hand in Takayama-cho, Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture.
