A Morbid Taste for Bones
By
Ellis Peters
Publisher: Macmillan, 1977 first edition. Orange hardback with titles in black on the spine, in its original dust jacket.Very good plus condition. This book would be near fine if it were not for the library labels and the endpapers and one stamp on the back of the title page, but at least the library is Shropshire County library, in particular Shrewsbury Library in the town where this book is set. The book has spent its life in the reference section, and has thus been hardly read at all. It is clean and bright and tight in its binding. The dust jacket has one closed tear on the front flap and a slight toning of the spine, only apparent because of the brighter patch which was protected by a label stuck to the sleeve in which it was protected. I will supply it with a new sleeve. This is the first of the Cadfael series and is quite uncommon, especially in this condition. 20.2cm, 8 inches, tall, 192 pages.
