Mazinger Z, the robot of the stars , with the international title The Iron Superman , is a Taiwan science fiction film , made in 1974 and starring Jamie Luk , Maggie Lee and Paul Chun . It was adapted and expanded into a comic by the Valencian publishing house in 1978

This film is not related to the characters created by Gô Nagai , but to a live-action television series titled Super Robot Mach Baron (1974-75) of Japanese nationality. The Taiwanese producers of The Iron Superman bought the rights to the Japanese series to remake it for cinematic exhibition. Posters
