I have for sale a table medal that advertises Beacon Blankets from the Beacon Manufacturing Company of Providence, Rhode Island.  The medal is bronze, it is 4 by 2 1/2 inches and its in circulated condition, see photos.  The medal is heavy, it has ball feet and it was made by the Whitehead & Hoag company.  I could find no information about B.M.C. being located in Providence, R.I. but I did find that it was originally in New Bedford, Massachusetts and from 1924 until it closed in 2002 it was located in Swannanoa, North Carolina. The medal at the top reads BEACON BLANKETS - MAKE WARM FRIENDS.  In the center it shows a factory.  At the bottom rim it reads BEACON MANUFACTURING COMPANY - PROVIDENCE, R.I.  Please see over 950 more collectibles for sale in my EBAY STORE at TE Collectables.  (19,262 ERD)
