This Ford Emblem built-in backup camera, Connects into an aftermarket Radio. Ford Emblem with (METAL) Chrome base (Not the cheap plastic others are selling here). For the power supply, you can connect it to any 12V power source. For example, if you wanted the camera to always be on, you can connect it to a 12v source that is on all the time, or if you only want it when you reverse you can connect it to the reverse tail lights. Includes video cable 20 feet long to reach your Headunit, or Monitor

**WARNING- This will not work as a replacement for OEM systems! If your truck has an existing OEM Backup Camera and you are looking for a replacement, this will not work!!

Installation:  
This backup camera can be connected to any aftermarket monitor with a Yellow RCA input. Typically the factory emblem is attached to your truck with double sided tape. Use a heat gun, at a low heat setting, and use a piece of floss between the emblem and tailgate to remove the old emblem. On some older models, you may need to drill a small hole in your tailgate to run the wiring through. Most 2006+ models come with the holes already drilled. **(We made it work with a Ford Ranger)

**Warning – the product may require modification to the tailgate. To check, remove the Ford Emblem and see if your tailgate has the cutouts for the mounting holes. If you do not see mounting holes behind the emblem, you will need to cut the tailgate to mount this backup camera.

Aftermarket Radio (Compatibility)

• Before purchasing check the back of your Monitor/Screen that you have a Yellow RCA input for easy install
• Install is still possible w/out Yellow RCA, but its much more difficult, will require a professional to splice in the Video signal.
• This will not work as a replacement for OEM systems!
• If your truck has an existing OEM Backup Camera and you are looking for a replacement, this will not work!
