The Avanti II is an American performance sports coupe that evolved from the original Studebaker Avanti. Between 1965 and 2006, it underwent several ownership changes. Initially produced from leftover Studebaker components, it later transitioned to General Motors and Ford chassis and engines. The Altman brothers introduced the Avanti II in 1965, featuring a modified Chevrolet Corvette engine. Over time, it adopted various powertrains, including the 305 cu in V8. Hand-built and custom-ordered, these cars combined luxury with distinctive styling. - msn bing Copilot A.I.
