LTH7R is a constant current/voltage charging management chip for single-cell lithium batteries. The LTH7R is a constant current/voltage charger for single-cell lithium batteries. The application circuit does not require an external detector resistor, and the internal MOSFET structure eliminates the need for an external reverse diode.
The LTH7R can automatically adjust the charging current to limit the chip temperature under high power and high ambient temperature. The charging voltage is fixed at 4.2V and the charging current can be adjusted by an external resistor. The LTH7R automatically terminates the charging process when the float voltage is reached and the charge current drops to 1/10 of the set circuit. When the input voltage is removed, the .LTH7R automatically enters the low current mode, drawing less than 5uA from the battery. When .LTH7R enters standby
LTH7R enters standby mode, the supply current is less than 70uA.
The .LTH7R also monitors charging current, features voltage detection, automatic cycle charging, and has an indicator pin to indicate charging status and input voltage status.
