Then install the screws with the cooled nuts. Nuts can be easily inserted into plastic parts using ultrasound or a soldering iron.

*Knurled nuts are designed for thermoplastics. Threaded Insert Nuts are threaded connections for injection molding, circuit board assembly, electronics and most plastic fasteners such as PLA, PP, ABS, PETG.

How this works:

Insert the threaded nut into the hole and heat the nut with a soldering iron. Brass has good thermal conductivity. After heating, the threaded inserts are pressed into the part. 

The heated copper insert also conducts heat to the plastic part, softening the plastic around the hole and quickly pressing the product into the hole. 

Then install the screws with the cooled nuts.

Note: 

Hot pressing process for nut inserts, please preheat the nuts before pressing process. Workers should wear insulating gloves during operation to avoid potential safety hazards during operation.
