She is blindfolded to assure fairness in judgment, which calls to the old sacred ideals of law practices. She stands barefoot on the book of law, while a snake slithers up her side. Though it peers up at her menacingly, trying to hinder her, she is not effected. This would make a great inspiring gift for lawyers, judges, anyone who aspires to work in law. 100% bronze and handmade, this brown patina sculpture was cast using the "Lost Wax Method" and mounted on a black marble base and is signed Mayer.
