Step shall be followed before the replacement of the compressor:
Step one:Clean all pipes of the air conditioning system individually, inject cleaning agent into the condenser and evaporator and soak them for about 20 minutes. Pour out the cleaning agent and dirt with high-pressure nitrogen. The deliquefaction jar, fluid collector and throttle shall not be cleaned; make sure that no residue of the cleaning agent remains in the system; desiccate the refrigerant circuit, if necessary;
Step Two: Clean the surface of the condenser and evaporator, check if the cooling fans’ speed is normal;
Step Three: Clean or replace the expansion valve; the deliquefaction jar and pipe filter shall be replaced;
Step Four: Check and correct oil filling level and oil viscosity before installing the compressor; vacuumize, fill fluorine, check high pressure and low pressure. Usually, the normal ranges of high pressure and low pressure are 180-200Psi and 30-40Psi respectively. If the pressure is abnormal, diagnose and troubleshoot first before installing the compressor;
Step Five: Check and correct oil filling level and oil viscosity before installing the compressor.
Fitment:
2006-2011 For HONDA Civic 1.8L
Feature & Details:
1. 【PREMIUM ALUMINUM MATERIAL】- This ac air compressor is a replacement Compressor and Clutch, made of high-strength aluminum material, which is durable, rigid, and wearable. It will not crack, break, or leak. Such high-quality ensures a long-time use for each compressor kit.
2. 【STRONG COOLING FUNCTION】- The auto ac compressor can provide sufficient pressure, which increases power force and decreases engine load. It greatly improves the cooling function. Features as high and stable efficiency, safety, and reliability.
3. 【LOW NOISE & LOW FUEL CONSUMPTION】- Ac compressor works great and has low noise for a better experience. With a lower load factor, low power will be input when driving at high speed, which increases fuel economy and makes operation smoothly.
4. 【FULLY TESTED & EASY INSTALLATION】- The ac compressor clutch has been examined and tested carefully before its delivery. And the kit without refrigeration oil inside, be aware of it when start your installation and replacement.
FQA:
How does the AC compressor work?
The serpentine belt or drive belt at the front of the engine drives the A/C compressor, thus allowing the compressor to pump refrigerant through the system. Some vehicles use a compressor with a clutch that engages the compressor electronically when the A/C button is turned on, and some vehicle's compressors turn any time the engine is running. The high pressure created is necessary for the air conditioning system to function and without it the air conditioner would blow just warmer than ambient temperature inside the vehicle. The compressor also uses check valves that allow refrigerant to flow in one direction.
What are the symptoms related to a bad AC compressor?
The compressor is necessary for the air conditioner to operate, and when it fails, the most common symptom is warm air from the
vents. Since the compressor places additional load on the engine, engine speed (RPM) will drop slightly if the A/C button is
turned on, but if the compressor is not functioning properly, the engine idle speed may not drop. This may indicate that the
compressor clutch is not functioning, or internal compressor failure has occurred. When the check valves fail, the high and low
pressure sides of the refrigerant system may being to equalize in pressure, and the air conditioner may blow warmer air. Finally, a
squealing or grinding noise may be heard from the compressor in the event of mechanical failure.
