They are from a huge collection of metal items from my father's shop in Brooklyn
which closed several decades ago. "Old Brassware" was located on Coney
Island Ave near Dorchester Rd. in Flatbush and my father also bought large
amounts of architectural metal from NYC buildings as they were torn down
or renovated during the 1950s through the 70s. Much of it came from churches, synagogues and public buildings.
