On the Athelta's website there is a fit tip that says to size down for these. There isn't anything smaller than a petite XS but thankfully these still fit. I would say they do run slightly larger than normal and since they run large, there is no compression in these tights. They feel like Lululemon's Aligns. That said, they're super comfortable!
These leggings are made of Powervita fabric which feels buttery soft. The inside of the tights feel soft.
