The cards measure 2” X 2.5” and came inside packs of cigarettes of the time. The ones I have (I have several listings) are primarily in color although I know they also came in black and white.
The faces feature war scenes and the backs serve as advertisements for the cigarette company as well as describing the picture action. This of course is all in German.
These cards are in great condition with just a little time wear.
