 (SERVICE) RESET FUNCTIONS (some models/Years do not enjoy this functions yet):

1.    Oil Light/Service Reset: Support service lamp/ service interval reset.

2.    EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) system: maintenance deactivates and reactivates the EPB system for replacement and initialization.

3.    DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Regeneration control system, requests the DPF regeneration process while DPF blockage and turn off the DPF indicator.

4.    ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) system relearns the throttle valve control value while clear or replace the throttle valve.

5.    SAS: Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) calibration, calibrates the steering wheel to straight ahead, or recalibrates SAS while steering part replacement.

6.    BMS (Battery Management System), registers new battery to the BMS while battery replacement.

7.    ABS Bleeding : release the air to restore ABS Brake sensitivity, or relearn while ABS replaced.

8.    Injectors Coding :relearn the injector control parameter while the injectors renewed or replaced .

9.    BCM(Body Stability): This function supports routine maintenance of DSC modules, for example, reset or delete the adaptation values, start-up the unit.

OBD-16 to BMW-20 pin Socket 

This socket is use to test the BMW vehicle between 1997 to 2000

 

If BMW car is OBD II protocol, use 16pin adapter connect to the car .

If BMW car is OBD I protocol, except for 16pin adapter, need to use one more 20pin adapter.

Firstly Use 16pin adapter connect with the scanner,

and the other side connect with the 20pin adapter,

finally connect the 20pin adapter to the BMW to test.

 

Note: The wiring diagram for the 20PIN adaptor must be the same with the wiring diagram of the iCarsoft products' port.

Otherwise it may not be compatible with our products even when the appearance is the same.
