Rustins Quick Dry White/ Grey Primer and Undercoat 250ml/ 500ml For Interior and Exterior Use

Rustins Quick Dry Grey Primer and Undercoat is for use on interior and exterior work. Used as a primer, it is suitable for new and bare wood, MDF, plaster, brickwork and cement. It has high opacity and can be used as an undercoat on primed or painted surfaces.  This paint may be overcoated with water or solvent based finishing paints.Clean brushes in water.  

Type: Formulated with water borne acrylic emulsion, pigments and extenders to provide excellent opacity. Available in matt white and matt grey. 
Intended Use: As a primer for use on bare wood, hardboard, MDF, plaster, brickwork and cement. (Not for priming metals). Can also be used as an undercoat over existing wood and metal primers and over existing paints. For interior and exterior use. 
Special Features: Quick drying. Excellent covering power. Low odour. Clean brushes in water. One coat is usually sufficient to completely cover previous paints and provides the base for new applications.

Usage Instructions: 
Preparation: Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contaminants. When priming bare wood, knots must be sealed with Rustin’s Knotting. Fill holes and cracks with Rustin’s Wood Filler after priming. As an undercoat over existing paint, the surface must be cleaned and lightly sanded to provide a key before application.  
Compatibility: Compatible with many paint products, such as Rustin’s White Gloss Paint and Rustin’s Quick-Drying Radiator Enamel. Not for use as a metal primer. Metals must be primed using Rustin’s Red Oxide Metal Primer. Application: Apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush or roller. For brush application, if necessary, the primer coat may be thinned by mixing 5 parts with 1 part water. Do not thin when applying as undercoat. 
Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE Clean up: Clean brushes and hands immediately after use with water. If dried on, clean equipment and brushes with Rustin’s Brush Restorer.
