This antique Chinese top hat hatbox is an exquisite piece of antique accessory. The hexagon top and black lacquer finish make it a unique addition to any collection. The hatbox is made of wood and is original, dating back to the pre-1890s. The country/region of manufacture is unknown (but is probably China), adding to its mystery and allure. The hatbox is perfect for everyday use or as a specialty item. It is suitable for both men and women and can be used to store hats or other small items. The hatbox's color, material, and decade make it a rare find and a valuable addition to any vintage collection.  It is 12" high and 10" wide.

CONDITION:  There are a few issues with this box.  I'm hoping someone buys it to stabilize and restore it.  It is splitting on one seam (last photo).  There is lacquer crackling on the box and cracking on the corners of the top and some dings on the top as well as a water mark where someone set something on it.  I tried to photograph the areas, but may have missed a couple. 

My handling time is 3 business days, but I try to get the item out the day after it's purchased and paid for.
