History:  Aurignacians, the first humans in Europe, lived during the Upper Paleolithic, or Old Stone Age, between 46,000 and 26,000 years ago.  They left many examples of the first paintings of humans , the first marks ever made by Homo Sapiens. The first artwork ever made. This important fact has inspired my pastel art for over 20 years.
