Antique Tin Ware Egg Poacher 

Your basic antique tin 4-egg cups egg poacher and egg cooker. Still retains its original intact working order spring action cup lifter to release eggs. The spring action handle moves smoothly as to release the cooked eggs. The poacher is a well-made piece and not flimsy. Has a nice hook to hang as decor. No manufacture name. This utensil has that great primitive quality that makes it special. 
A great addition to your Country Farmhouse Kitchen Decor. 
Eggs were cracked into each cup and then immersed into shallow simmering water to cook. The spring action handle moves smoothly as to release the cooked eggs.


CONDITION
This one is in very good antique condition. Nice dark tin patina that only comes with age. Some spots of surface rust. The springs are not rusty. Nothing is loose or falling apart.  I have not cleaned this egg poacher, as found from a country farmhouse auction. Can be oiled to refresh.
