"La Ragazza Shake" is a 6 1/2" thin "flat-bodied" mystery novelty doll that was manufactured by the Lenci Company in Italy perhaps as early as the 1960s.  With her long hair, turquoise and orange mini dress, and her orange "go-go" boots, she certainly reflects the MOD 1960s era.  I was unable to find much information about her, though she may have been a promotional item or a premium for the "Clan Dei Giovani," a band that was popular in Italy at that time, I believe.  I really do not know for certain and am only conjecturing.  "La Ragazza Shake" appears in sturdy and bright condition, though her yellow cord has detached from the back of its original card (spotting), resulting in fraying along its top portion.  The Lenci gold seal sticker which holds the cord in place is present, as is her torn and damaged cello packaging.  Her packaging is in shreds though and should probably be tossed!  Felt is detaching in a couple of spots on the doll's body, and a few areas of her dress and hair have become lightly bent from storage.  "La Ragazza Shake" is a curious and yet appealing Mod era style Lenci felt doll.  She is being sold "as is."
