This is a brand new, after-market, good quality manually retractable aerial specifically Volkswagen VW T4 and Euro van (Eurovan) models manufactured between 1990 and 2003 which have the aerial mounted on the front scuttle panel between the bonnet and windscreen. It is suitable for all T4’s and its derivative models: Transporter, Panel van, Crew van, Day van, Caravelle, Surf Van, Campervan, Camper van, Westfalia, MV, Weekender, and others.

Specification is:

·        Fixed 38ºangle.

·        Fits existing 19.5mm x 15.5mm oval hole.

·        Four section 88 cm (34 inch) mast.

·        Chrome mast with black tip.

·        Separate 1.75 metre coax (67 inch) coax cable which screws onto the aerial neck, and has a male screw on connector which normally allows the aerial to be replaced without the need to gain access to the back of the radio (see photo).

The aerial unit is identical to the original equipment OE Hirschmann aerial and has a screw on coax cable on the aerial antenna neck so the aerial can be changed without the need to relay the cable to the radio. Equivalent to VW part number 701-035-503A. Sourced from the USA and not from China.
