These are two original black and white wood engravings from 1866 published in Harper's Weekly Newspaper. The top print show the Richmond Bridewell Prison in Dublin, Ireland. Most notably, the title reveals this is right after the escape of the Fenian leader James Stephens. The lower print depicts Cork County Gaol, Cork City Ireland. Fenian brotherhood prisoners are being marched through the prison gate. The page measures 10" x 15" with wide margins, perfect for framing.
