Alexander Wienerberger (German: Alexander Wienerberger, December 8, 1891[3], Vienna, Austria-Hungary - January 5, 1955, Salzburg, Austria[4]) was an Austrian chemical engineer who worked for 19 years at chemical enterprises of the USSR. He is known for the fact that, while in Kharkov, he created and preserved photographs of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, which are considered photographic evidence of mass hunger among the inhabitants of Ukraine during that period.
